Ipad diluncurkan pada tanggal 27 januari 2010.Ipad merupakan komputer tablet dilengkapi dengan OS. Ipad merupakan perkembangan dari Iphone dan Ipod touch, meskipun tidak ada fungsi telepon di media ini. Pada tanggal 3 April 2010 yang lalu, perangkat ini secara resmi diluncurkan meski sayangnya baru terbatas pada kawasan United States.

Fitur unggulan iPad Apple :
1. Layar 9,7 inchi LED, Resolusi 1024×768 pixel dengan 132 pixel per inci,mendukung penulisan banyak bahasa dan karakter secara bersamaan.
2. Battery tahan selama 10 jam, jika standby memiliki daya satu bulan
3.Koneksi Nirkabel Apple iPad akan tersedia dalam berbagai pilihan koneksi. Dari sisi koneksi data nirkabel, iPad akan memiliki kemampuan WiFi 802.11n dan juga koneksi 3G (pada tipe tertentu).
